A visual artist residing in Saint Petersburg, Florida, Michael grew up in Portage, Wisconsin. He joined the US Air Force in 1991, where he served as a Medic and Rescueman for five years and was honorably discharged in July 1996. Michael uses his photographic art to communicate and convey personal struggles of living and coping with PTSD. His images are a collection of personal human emotion and observations combined with the natural landscape and falling light. Michael has both formal and field work experience in photography. He has studied photography at Madison Area Tech College and holds a Bachelor of Science from Boise State in Visual Communication and Addictions. His work resonates in popular art gallerys in Pinellas County, often showcased at award-winning Photo exhibits in St. Pete.
